A 12-month study by the Center for Natural Areas was conducted to collect and analyze published, unpublished, and raw data as well as ongoing research programs from 1974 to present, relative to the marine environment of the outer continental shelf and the Blake Plateau from Cape Hatteras, North Carolina to Cape Canaveral, Florida. The report is to be used to assess adequacy of the regional data base.
