As part of the engineering-support services for the DOE/GRI Joint Coal-Gasification Research Program, Foster Wheeler analyzed the data obtained by the Institute of Gas Technology (IGT) during their Phase-I test program in a high-pressure fluidized-bed PDU gasifier. The data for which the data analysis was performed correspond to those test runs conducted between February and September 1985, which resulted in steady-state operating periods at pressures of 100, 200, and 300 psia. the results of Foster Wheeler's data analysis are compared to those reported by IGT subsequent to their own analysis performed on the same data.
