Title: Exotic scalar meson with J/sup //sup P//sup C/ = 0/sup + -/ from QCD sum rules

We show that QCD sum rules in the channel with the quantum numbers J/sup //sup P//sup C/ = 0/sup + -/ suggest the existence of a resonance structure in the mass region M/sub R/ approx. =2.1--2.5 GeV. This state could be composed of a light quark--antiquark pair and a gluon. In order to improve the effectiveness of the sum rules, we simulate a low-energy theorem by means of calculations in the associated 1/sup - -/ vector channel. We calculate the transition amplitudes of the rho meson into the two different currents constructed of a quark, an antiquark, and a gluon. By considering the various nondiagonal correlators we check the rho dominance in these cases.
