The stochastic finite element analysis of the transient heat transfer in composite materials is the main subject of the paper presented. The approach proposed is based on the second order perturbation second central probabilistic moment method. The methodology proposed is illustrated with the example of transient heat transfer in the three-component layered composite with randomly defined thermal properties.
