Title: Structure of faint radio sources. I. VLA observations and optical identifications

VLA observations in the B configuration obtained in September 1986 at 5 GHz are used to map 101 radio sources in the 4.8-70 mJy flux-density range in order to investigate the radio and optical nature of weak radio sources. Uniformly weighted high-resolution maps made with a synthesized beamwidth of 1.15 arcsec were used to determine the positions of the more compact sources and to reveal the structure of the smaller, less complex sources. Source parameters and optical identifications are also presented. 29 references.
