The Prairie Island configuration management program plan

The Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant completed the development of its Configuration Management Program Plan in late 1988. The purpose of the plan was to establish the philosophies and perspectives of configuration management (CM) that will be used to guide the formal implementation of the CM program. In addition, a series of specific activities was defined to build on currently successful programs at Prairie Island and further the implementation of CM. This paper discusses the role that plant operations, training, and maintenance play in CM at Prairie Island.
