Calculation of prompt fission neutron spectra and average prompt neutron multiplicities for the spontaneous fission of the even isotopes of plutonium

Calculations of the prompt fission neutron spectrum N(E) and average prompt neutron multiplicity {bar {nu}}{sub p} are presented for the spontaneous fission of {sup 236}Pu, {sup 238}Pu, {sup 240}Pu, {sup 242}Pu, and {sup 244}Pu using the Los Alamos model together with recent measurements of other fission observables for these systems.
