Modeling and optimizing a gas--water reservoir
Results of modeling and optimizing a gas-water reservoir with variable production rate and enhanced recovery with waterflooding are presented. A dynamic programming approach leads to a conjecture as to the optimal production strategy. An analytical proof of this conjecture is then obtained.
