Observation of the Meissner effect in an organic superconductor

A partial Meissner effect, fully diamagnetic shielding signals, and large anisotropies in the upper and lower critical fields in ditetramethyltetraselenafulvalene-hexafluorophosphate ((TMTSF)/sub 2/PF/sub 6/) under applied hydrostatic pressure are observed.
