The magnetically levitated truck was analyzed as a multipoint supporting system. The control system was analyzed in the coordinate system of each mode of motion. A method of compensating for the steady-state error of the gap length (between the rail and the truck), which occurs because of the noncoplanar nature of the real plane, was proposed, and the response characteristics were improved considerably.
