Investigation of kinetics of liquid phase chemical reactions, complicated by mass transfer, using flow reversion gas chromatography

The possibility to determine rate constants of reversible liquid phase reactions, complicated by mass transfer, was demonstrated using flow reversion gas chromatography. The example chosen for the study was the dehydration of isomeric butyl alcohols with phosphoric acid at 90-103/sup 0/C.
