Two-electron-jump electric dipole oscillator strengths in La/sup 48+/ and La/sup 49+/

We report nonrelativistic many-body f values for the La transitions 2s2p/sup n/..-->..2s/sup 2/2p/sup n-2/3p, where n = 5,6. The largest of these transitions, computed using the first-order theory of oscillator strengths and including all nonorthonormality effects, is about 0.009.
