BACT/LAER (Best Available Control Technology/Lowest Achievable Emission Rate) Clearinghouse: a compilation of control-technology determinations. Third supplement to 1985. Summary Tables and Appendices A-G
The basic purposes of the BACT/LAER Clearinghouse are to: (1) provide State and local air-pollution control agencies with current information on case-by-case control technology determinations that are made nationwide; and (2) promote communication, cooperation, and sharing of control-technology information among the permitting agencies. The information presented in the compilation was abstracted from preconstruction permits and submitted voluntarily by the State and local air-pollution control agencies. The Clearinghouse is intended as a reference for State and local agencies in making BACT/LAER decisions. The report is a supplement to previous Clearinghouse compilations issued in May 1982, April 1983, May 1984, May 1985, May 1986, and May 1987.
