Title: Measurement of Quasielastic [sup 3]He([ital [rvec p]],[ital pN]) Scattering from Polarized [sup 3]He and the Three-Body Ground State Spin Structure

We report measurements of spin correlations and analyzing powers in [sup 3][ital [rvec H]e]([ital [rvec p]],2[ital p]) and [sup 3][ital [rvec H]e]([ital [rvec p]],[ital pn])quasielastic scattering as a function of momentum transfer and missing momentum at 197 MeV using a polarized internal target at the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility Cooler Ring. At sufficiently high momentum transfer we find [sup 3][ital [rvec H]e]([ital [rvec p]],[ital pn]) spin observables are in good agreementwith free [ital p][minus][ital n] scattering observables, and therefore that [sup 3][ital [rvec H]e] can serve as a good polarizedneutron target. The extracted polarizations of nucleons in [sup 3][ital [rvec H]e] at low missing momentumare consistent with Faddeev calculations.
