Title: Elementary particle physics

Abstract

This book emphasizes the fundamental concepts and their phenomenological consequences in the physics of elementary particles. The author deals with quantum electrodynamics and with quantum chromodynamics. The unifying principle of working with gauge groups is applied to explain the electroweak interaction. The author presents the standard model and makes a comparison between theoretical and experimental results in particle physics.
