This bibliography contains citations concerning experimental studies of solitons in optical fibers, and the development of soliton lasers. The work is directed toward developing optical communications, in which ultra-short pulses are generated. The solitons, once generated, are quite stable, offering the advantages of increased channel capacity, and reduces the need for re-generation of signals in lengthy optical networks.
