Structural changes of steel 25Kh1M1F in long-term exposure to elevated temperatures and stresses

Steel 25Kh1M1F was investigated using temperature-time parameters to compare the properties of metal subjected to precipitation strain hardening. It was found that the steel subjected to the effect of heat had four distinct periods of structural transformations and changes of mechanical properties. It was recommended to extend the operation of steam turbine rotors above the calculated period.
