FERC's case load management problem. [Task force recommendation for backlog]

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission now has a backlog of nearly 20,000 cases. In response to this serious problem, the American Gas Association and the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America formed a Joint Task Force to review the reasons for this backlog and recommend to the commission specific steps that should be taken as soon as possible to alleviate this condition. This article summarizes the task force's findings and recommendations.
