Solar central-receiver hybrid power system: Phase I study. Combined-cycle solar-hybrid power system

Two separate combined cycle solar central receiver hybrid power systems are briefly described. Market surveys and analyses are performed using screening curves. The Pacific Southern, South Mountain, South Central and Middle Atlantic regions were studied. Parametric analyses of the collector, receiver, and electric power generation subsystems are performed. Finally, systems level analyses are performed to select the optimum system. (LEW)
