Title: Electron-beam-excited XeBr laser

Abstract

An experimental study was made of stimulated emission at lambda=281.8 nm from an Ar--Xe--C/sub 2/F/sub 4/Br/sub 2/ mixture. The output power was 3 MW and the specific output energy was >1 J/liter.
