The authors have previously reported the synthesis, structure, and bonding of several new dinuclear complexes including seven diplatinum complexes. The analysis of the {sup 31}P and {sup 195}Pt NMR spectra of these complexes is presented herein. These data have considerable diagnostic values for determining the formation of diplatinum complexes of this structural type and may lead to a better understanding of the usual electronic structure of these molecules. 12 refs., 1 tab.
