Various benchmark tests were performed on JENDL-1. JENDL-1 predicted various neutronic characteristics of fast reactors fairly well. It was pointed out, however, that JENDL-1 underestimated the fission rate ratio of /sup 239/Pu to /sup 235/U and might give some errors in predicting the reaction rate distribution in outer core and blanket region. The effects of cross sections of structural materials were investigated concerning the latter problems.
