We pursue the previously proposed idea of using maximally symmetric lattices to improve scaling and Lorentz invariance in lattice field theories. For the two-dimensional O(3) nonlinear sigma model, we construct both the standard action and a one-loop improved action on a triangular lattice. Numerical evidence for improvement is presented for both the models without an appreciable increase in computing time.
