Title: Supercritical fluids: Chemical and engineering principles and applications

Abstract

This new book bridges the gap between two disparate areas of supercritical fluid research: principles of behavior and applications. It includes outlines on the principles of physiochemical properties, chemical reactions, and phase equilibria of supercritical fluids; and applications of supercritical fluids to chromatography, fuel and fractionation and separation from the perspective of the behavior principles. The editors have provided a transition from fundamentals to applications within each section. The initial chapter provides a basis and focus for ensuing chapters.
