Title: New constraints on exotic fermion masses from E/sub 6/ theories

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev. D; (United States)

The recent limit obtained by the UA1 Collaboration on the mass of a possible fourth-generation charged lepton (M>41 GeV) is used to place new (model-dependent) constraints on the masses of exotic leptons which occur in E/sub 6/ models. These new limits only apply if the sum of the charged- and neutral-exotic-fermion masses is less than that of the W boson and the charged exotic fermion is heavier than its neutral partner.
