Simple analytical expressions for mesomolecular matrix elements

The numerical values of dipole matrix elements related to the formation of {ital dt}{mu} mesomolecules obtained using a simple asymptotic wave function are compared to more precise ones calculated from a nearly exact wave function. The agreement is acceptable, which suggests that quantities involved in mesomolecular processes may now be estimated using simple analytical formulas.
