Theory of a dielectric transducer controlled by an external electric field and external stress

Electrostatic six-terminal network equations are derived for the description of a dielectric transducer. The parameters of the transducer are functions of the constant external voltage and stress, the linear and second-order piezoelectric constants, the elastic constants, the dielectric constant, and the linear electrostriction.
