Title: Parity violation in [ital e][sup +][ital e[minus]][r arrow][ital e][sup +][ital e[minus]][gamma]

Abstract

We examine the asymmetry arising from parity violation in the process [ital e][sup +][ital e[minus]][r arrow][ital e][sup +][ital e[minus]][gamma]. The parity-violating interference between the [gamma] and [ital Z] contributions is shown to give an asymmetry of order 0.1 pb at around 90 to 100 GeV center-of-mass energy, and would therefore be observed in present [ital e][sup +][ital e[minus]] colliders. The parity-violating effect does not depend on the spins of the [ital e][sup +][ital e[minus]] and [gamma]; the initial and final beams are therefore not required to be polarized.
