Detection of recoil nuclei in coherent diffraction production of particles

A study is made of the angular and energy distributions of recoil nuclei in the coherent diffraction production of particles in nuclei. It is shown what kind of new possibilities are made available in study of this process by detection of events with a definite value of kinetic energy or emission angle of the recoil nucleus.
