Title: Cluster model of odd nuclei with axially symmetric polarization of clusters

Abstract

A model which is a generalization of the well known Brink ..cap alpha..-cluster model to the case when the nucleus contains both ..cap alpha..-particle substructures and also clusters with less than four nucleons is developed for odd nuclei. In addition, in contrast to the Brink model a more general class of single-particle functions is used. The two-center model of the /sup 7/Li nucleus is treated as an example.
