Measurement of transient temperature fields on the electrode walls of the MHD duct

The possibility of measuring transient temperature fields on the electrode walls of a MHD duct by high-speed photography was examined. An analogous method of determining the temperature fields by photoelectric recording with the use of television equipment is proposed. The main factors leading to a difference between the measured and true temperature were isolated and the appropriate estimates were made. The results of measuring the temperature fields on the electrode wall of the MHD duct are given.
