Title: Backfit of a condensate polishing system in a pressurized water reactor plant

Abstract

The retrofitting of a full-flow condensate polishing system at the Prairie Island PWRs following the change from phosphate to all-volatile feedwater treatment is described. The change in water treatment was necessary to prevent steam generator corrosion.
