A unified treatment of enhanced induced emission of electromagnetic and electrostatic waves in plasma at pump intensities subcritical for the excitation of parametric instabilities
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:5793427
A simple formalism yields a general expression for the enhanced induced emission in plasma influenced by a strong electromagnetic or electrostatic pump. Application to subcritical Brillouin, Raman, and other resonant and nonresonant interactions are given. 7 refs.
