This patent describes a method of fabricating a multi-cell photovoltaic module. It comprises: forming a film of transparent conductive oxide; scribing the conductive oxide film with a laser; fabricating a film of photovoltaic amorphous silicon on the conductive oxide layer, scribing the amorphous silicon film with a laser; forming strips of electrically non-conductive black silk-screen resist ink; forming a film of aluminum; and scribing portions of the aluminum film.
