Title: Considerations affecting global nuclear initiatives. Technical report, 1 March 1990-30 April 1996

This report reviews the activities, analyses, and outputs undertaken and completed as part of Considerations Affecting Global Nuclear Initiatives, a contract effort designed to provide the Defense Nuclear Agency and members of the broader U.S. Government national security community with critical assessments of the diverse variables affecting the planning, acquisition and modernization of U.S. forces as well as the security perspectives among key U.S. allies in NATO Europe and in selected nations along the Pacific Rim. Within this analysis, emphasis was placed on future requirements across the range of nuclear forces, and the development of offensive and defensive technologies intended for deterrence and as part of U.S. and Allied warfighting capabilities. Specifically, this report describes the broad range of deliverables and analytical products encompassing European and Asia-Pacific Country Reports, Conferences/Workshops and after-action publications, White Papers, Memoranda, and Briefings produced by National Security Planning Associates to meet the performance requirements of the contract.
