The study was conducted to: (1) evaluate the current socioeconomic and cultural conditions prevailing on the reservations; (2) determine attitudes and feelings of inhabitants concerning energy development; (3) establish socioeconomic projections; (4) establish reliable impact research methods for monitoring social change; (5) train Tribal persons in all phases of the research. This report is a summary of information contained in the Final Report of the Crow Impact Study.
