Thermodynamics of SU(2) gauge theory with dynamical, light fermions

Using microcanonical computer-simulation techniques we study the finite-temperature phase transitions in SU(2) gauge theory with four light-quark species. The chiral-symmetry-restoration transition is found by studying the order parameter . The theory's Wilson line, Wilson-line correlation function, and internal energies are measured in the vicinity of the transition. The Wilson line and its correlation function are smooth, apparently analytic functions of the physical temperature. These results are contrasted with their SU(3) counterparts.
