Analysis of gases in the earth's crust. Annual report 1 Jan 82-31 Dec 82
Technical Report

OSTI ID:5498088
Given the uncertainty of future world energy reserves, current knowledge of the origin and nature of natural gas needs to be expanded. The relative importance of processes of formation of natural gas will help in decision making for future exploration programs. The objective of this report is to define the origin, migration and present distribution of methane in the earth's crust, with particular emphasis on identifying abiogenic methane.
