Near-threshold phenomena in the NN-bar system as a coupled-channel problem

The properties of quasinuclear baryonium--coupling of the annihilation widths of the levels with the NN-bar annihilation cross section--are discussed in terms of the dynamical problem of coupled channels. The region of applicability of factorization relations for the widths and cross sections is established. The influence of variation of the diagonal interaction on the annihilation effects is investigated.
