Freezing of the thawed zone around a well in frozen soils taking into account the pressure-dependence of the temperature of freezing

One of the most dangerous complications in the operation of wells in frozen soils is the collapse of the casing columns caused by the pressures generated by retrograde freezing. This paper analyzes the effects of taking into account the drop in the freezing point of water in the calculation of the pressures of retrograde freezing, arising during idle time and temporary shut-down of wells in frozen soils.
