Title: A search for the signature of a deconfined quark-gluon phase of strongly interacting matter in [ital [bar p]]--[ital p] interactions at [radical]s=1. 8 TEV

Multiplicity distributions, particle ratios, and the average transverse momenta of particles are presented as function of collider energy at [radical]s=300,540,1000, and 1800 GeV. The dramatic variation of these quantities starting at [radical]s=300 GeV, suggests the onset of a new particle production mechanism. The [l angle][ital p][sub [ital t]][r angle] versus [ital n][sub [ital c]] curve is measured as function of [ital n][sub [ital c]] at [radical]s=1800 GeV and compared with [ital e][sup +]-[ital e][sup [minus]] data.
