Reoval of fluoride from concentrated fluoride wastewater: A literature search
The purpose of this report is to review published information regarding the disposal of concentrated fluoride wastewater and to then assess the applicability of these data to treatment of wastewater generated by the activated alumina pilot plant being tested to defluoridate ground water at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. The dialog service of Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, Inc. was used to search seven literature banks each of which contains a multitude of data from scientific journals, patents, engineering publications and news articles. After identifying and reading related articles from the computer search, additional articles from the references listed by the various authors were identified and read. A summary of all published literature reviewed is presented.
