This study is the history of the changes that have evolved in the rules governing the developments and operations of the Prudhoe Bay oil field, with emphasis on regulatory developments in 1973. The report on progress of the reservoir study is designed in part to provide data for future regulatory decisions. This is a study to examine the reservoir under different modes of operation to determine the sensitivity or effect of various factors on the reservoir behavior. Of primary interest are such factors as spacing, fluid withdrawal rates, gas coning, water coning, aquifer behavior, and fluid injection. A computer log analysis and plotting program and computer reservoir simulation models are being used.
