The helicity-conserving and nonconserving {ital NN}-scattering amplitudes in Pomeron and odderon exchanges are calculated in the Born approximation of QCD for the nucleon modeled as a quark and a scalar {ital ud} diquark. The Pomeron amplitude is insensitive to the diquark size for small {vert bar}{ital t}{vert bar}. The odderon amplitude without spin-flip falls off with decreasing diquark radius. The contribution of odderon exchange to the ratio Re {ital T}/Im {ital T} for forward {ital pp} scattering is {similar to}0.02 for the symmetric nucleon and {similar to}0.005{endash}0.01 for the nucleon with a compact diquark of radius {similar to}0.2{endash}0.3 F. In the case of a compact diquark the contribution of Pomeron{endash}odderon interference to the polarization in {ital pp} scattering is {similar to}0.5{endash}1% at {vert bar}{ital t}{vert bar}{similar to}0.3 (GeV/{ital c}){sup 2}.
