The semiclassical approximation to the spin-boson model leads to interesting nonlinear effects, triggered by the important action of the reaction field, namely the influence that the boson bath exerts on the spin system. This paper illustrates the quantum mechanical manifestations of the semiclassical nonlinearity in a wide variety of conditions.
