Anisotropic neutrino emission from beta-decays in a strong magnetic field

Estimates are obtained for the maximum momentum that could be imparted to a collapsing star because of the anisotropic emission of neutrinos when free nucleons undergo Urca processes at high temperatures and densities in a strong magnetic field.
