Title: Calculations of the mode structure of a planar optical resonator of a solid-state laser

Abstract

Results are presented of parametric calculations of the modes of a planar optical resonator of a solid-state laser and similarity criteria are formulated. It is shown that asymmetric solutions of the equation for the field in the resonator, which are obtained together with symmetric solutions, are found near points at which the necessary bifurcation condition is satisfied.
