Title: Universal formula to extrapolate the generalized oscillator strength through the unphysical region to [ital K][sup 2]=0

Abstract

Rigorous bounds are derived for the momentum-transfer squared, [ital K][sup 2], and used to construct a universal formula to extrapolate the generalized oscillator strength through the unphysical region to the optical oscillator strength. Results of the universal function are compared with those obtained from experimental small-angle differential cross sections to determine the range of its applicability.
