Legislation passed in California in 1976 calls for an examination of the status of reprocessing, spent fuel storage, and waste disposal technologies and of federal programs for developing them to service the commercial nuclear power industry. This report presents the status of the Commission's investigation. Key areas for further investigation are outlined. (DLC)
