Neutron activation analytical determination of small amounts of /sup 237/Np in solutions containing uranium, plutonium, and fission products

Submicrogram amounts of /sup 237/Np in process solutions of the Karlsruhe MILLI plant were determined by neutron activation analysis after chemical separation from nuclear fuel elements and fission products by extraction with thenoyltrifluoroacetone. Chemical yield controls were established by adding and measuring of /sup 239/Np spike activity.
